The Ambassadors

An Ambassador (also considered as a "Fellow" in the Ambassadorial Society) must show excellence in the fields of Education, Arts, Humanities, Business, Technology, Health and Science, and especially in the area
of community service.  This will be awarded to a recipient chosen based upon the information provided by him/her and their nominators, especially ANY information concerning his/her continuous active pursuit in
making the world a better place for tomorrow.

There are NO AGE constraints.  

There is
NO FEE for Nomination or Submittal of Information.  

THE DEADLINE FOR ALL NOMINATIONS IS DECEMBER 31 OF EACH YEAR.

There are THREE Levels of Fellowship:
First - Universe,
Second - World,
and Third - International Ambassadors (Representing Countries or Regions)

Fellows in the lower levels may petition to increase their level as their contributions and services to their fields and to Society continue to grow per annum.
Membership Dues:

1. Regular Members 25 USD Per Annum
2. Associate or Friends of the Society 25 USD Per Annum
3. Life Member $250 (one time fee)
4. Honorary Members -- No dues.

At least three character recommendations, including at least one from a State, National, or International Organization

Please have copies made.  Submissions will not be returned.
Each candidate for the Fellowship or Foreign Membership must be nominated and the nominator must  sign a certificate of nomination. The certificate includes a statement of the principal grounds on which the
proposal is being made. The certificate will be available for inspection by other Fellows of the Ambassadorial Society until the day when and if the candidate is elected. All completed certificates of proposal (completed
submissions) must be received by the Ambassadorial Society by the annual closing date of 31 December. There is no limit to how many candidates may be proposed or seconded by a Fellow.

The number of new nominations made in any year is unlimited.
Criteria for Candidates

According to the Society's statutes, candidates for election to the Fellowship must have made a substantial contribution to the improvement of knowledge in Education, Arts, Humanities, Business, Technology, and
Health and Science.  Candidates must have on going projects in the area of community service.

The Ambassadorial Society does not restrict its Fellowship to US nationals. Individuals who are eminent for their field in discoveries and attainments, but who are ineligible for election to the Fellowship, may be eligible
as candidates for the Foreign Membership.
They have made a contribution to natural knowledge by leadership, inspiration or by furthering their respective fields in a senior management or administrative capacity;
They are distinguished for comprehension, analysis or synthesis, and their ability to teach others;
They have raised public understanding and/or appreciation;
They have in other ways rendered conspicuous service in the cause(s) of their choice.
They continue to empower others regardless of their own circumstances.
Overall during the election cycle, Society members, are involved in the process of producing the final list of names from the list of candidates.  Fellows attending the Annual Meeting for the Election in March vote by secret ballot.
Only Fellows attending the meeting are allowed to vote. A candidate is elected if he or she secures two-thirds of votes. Candidates do not attend the Annual Meeting.

New Fellows are formally admitted to the Society at the formal Admissions Day in April.
Obligation

We who have hereunto subscribed, do hereby promise, that we will endeavour to promote the good of the Ambassadorial Society for Improving knowledge and understanding, and to pursue the
ends for which the same was founded; that we will carry out, as far as we are able, those actions requested of us in the name of the Society; and that we will observe the Statutes and Standing
Orders of the said Society.

Fellows and Foreign Members may be expelled for conduct that is "injurious to the character or interests of the Society". The Ambassadorial Society considers such cases and if necessary may require a Fellow to resign. In such
cases, if the Fellow does not resign, Council can call a Special General Meeting of Fellows to put forward the proposal to expel the Fellow in question. The Fellow is expelled if two-thirds of the Fellows present at the meeting support
the proposal.

Election Process

The election process is extremely rigorous and is based on the system of peer review. The annual cycle begins after the closing deadline for nominations on 31 December and ends with a formal Admissions Day the
following April.

In general, candidates are those who have been nominated mainly for contributions to a specific field: Education, Arts, Humanities, Business, Technology, Health and Science.

They satisfy one or more of the following criteria:
