Pam Palmer
Pam Palmer has a heart of gold. She volunteers more hours in a day than anyone the Society knows. Pam is an avid volunteer for the Greater Pittsburgh Tobacco Committee of the American Cancer Society, the American Cancer Society, the Animal Rescue League of
Pittsburgh, the Collie Rescue League of Southwestern Pennsylvania, and the Salvation Army. She cares greatly for those who cannot speak for themselves. Pam helps with fundraising in an effort to find dogs and cats at the shelter. She is a graduate of the South Fayette
High School in McDonald, Pennsylvania where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She received the Gregg Shorthand Memorial Medal and a scholarship for Business school. Pam received the Spirit of Pageantry Award as Ms. Keystone State 2002. She
also received the Friendship Award after her reign as Ms. Mid Atlantic. She also received a special Citation Award from the Pennsylvania State Representative, Tim Murphy, for accomplishments in winning various pageant titles including, Ms. Professional Woman
International 2002 - 2003 and for her community service involvement. Pam is also the Director for Lee Denim Days in her area and is in charging presents and donations for Toys for Tots. Pam is also an accomplished actor and was featured in the Hallmark Hall of Fame
Movie, "Breathing Lessons." Pam runs many pet photo competitions benefiting the Animal Rescue League, AARF (Allegheny Abused Animals Relief Fund), and HAPIE (Help a Pet in Emergency. For those interested in assisting Pam, please see the following websites:
