Terry Slusher is a life long resident of Orlando, Florida, having moved there in 1962. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law, graduating with Honors in July, 1992. Second in his graduating class and in the top ten percent of all
graduating classes for 1992, Terry was initiated into the Order of the Coif, a national legal Honor Society, for his academic achievements. Terry was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Terry is currently admitted to the Florida Bar Association and the
Federal Middle District Court Bar, permitting him to practice in both state and federal courts. He is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association. Terry received this BA degree in Business and Commerce in
1982 from Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, TN.
Since he began practicing law, Terry has primarily focused his practice in the areas of personal injury and first party insurance claims such as insurance coverage disputes and denial of claims by insurance companies. Because of his prior representation of
insurance company clients, Terry knows the insurance company has experienced lawyers on staff to advise them on your claim. Terry also knows you need access to the same experience when your insurance company denies your claim. And in most instances, if
you end up having to sue your own insurance company over a denied claim and you win, your insurance company pays your attorney's fees as well.
An avid motorcyclist and frequent rider of his Harley Davidson Road King, Terry is also experienced in representing motorcyclists who have been injured through the negligence of others. Terry is very familiar with the special issues and difficulties arising in
motorcycle accident claims.
And after providing pro bono representation to numerous family law clients over the years for the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid Society, Terry has developed a growing practice in the area of Family Law involving marital dissolutions, custody disputes,
visitation and child support issues, as well as all other aspects of family law practice. Terry has found that appropriate representation at the outset of these very emotional cases can help to prevent long term recurring problems that can result in great and
